PET bottled water: the right size for every occasion

PET bottled water is the easiest way to keep water with you on the road, at the gym, in meetings and when hosting guests. Girne Su PET bottles are filled with water from the same Kyrenia (Beşparmak) Mountains spring as our jugs and every batch is analysed; you can review the current values on our Water Quality page. When you order by the pack, we bring it to your door, so there is no need to carry heavy cases.

Which size for which use?

  • 1.5 L (pack of 6): Suits daily use at home, cooking, long drives and beach days. An economical alternative for small households that do not use a dispenser.
  • 0.5 L (case of 12): The most popular size for bags, the gym, school and office desks. Easy to plan one bottle per person in meetings.
  • 0.33 L (case of 24): Ideal for seminars, weddings and cocktail receptions, hotel rooms and children. Easy to serve with very little waste.

When planning bottles for an event or office, roughly one small bottle per person per hour in mild weather is a good starting point, and a little more during the hot North Cyprus summer. Our water calculator makes this estimate easier.

Storage and safe use

PET bottles are light and unbreakable, but they still need proper storage:

  • Do not leave cases in direct sunlight, in a car boot or in hot storerooms for long periods.
  • Stack them in a cool, dry, odour-free place, off the floor.
  • Finish an opened bottle quickly; do not refill and reuse a bottle you have drunk from for long periods.
  • Check the best-before date on the label.

Do you sell single PET bottles?

Online, PET bottles are sold in packs and cases (1.5 L ×6, 0.5 L ×12, 0.33 L ×24). Single bottles are available from our retail points.

How long can PET bottled water be stored?

Unopened bottles stored in a cool place out of the sun can be consumed safely until the best-before date on the label. We recommend finishing an opened bottle within a few days.

Is water from a bottle left in a hot car safe?

We do not recommend leaving PET bottles in high heat or direct sun for long periods. In summer, do not leave cases in the car; store them somewhere cool.

Can I place a bulk order for an event?

Yes. Send us the event date, number of guests and delivery address through the quote form and we will prepare a price and delivery plan with a size and quantity recommendation.
