History
Girne Su through the years
Milestones since 2000.
2000
First bottling plant in Karaoğlanoğlu
Girne Su was founded with a small bottling plant to bring spring water from the Kyrenia Mountains to homes in Kyrenia.
2006
19 L jug line
An automated washing and filling line ushered in the era of the returnable 19 L jug.
2011
Nicosia distribution depot
A depot in Hamitköy enabled regular deliveries to offices and institutions in Nicosia.
2015
PET bottle range
0.33 L, 0.5 L and 1.5 L PET bottles joined the range.
2019
Quality control laboratory
An in-house laboratory began routine checks on every batch, with periodic reports verified by an accredited lab.
2023
Subscriptions and online ordering
Scheduled delivery subscriptions and online order requests were launched.
2026
Glass bottles and a new filling line
Glass bottles for hotels and restaurants and a new filling line came into service.
